Francisco Gabaldon "Paco" Hamm, Still Photography

Francisco “Paco” Hamm is a photographer, producer and writer in Washington, D.C. His claim to fame as an actor in the movie business is 5 seconds as an extra in the film, “White Squall.” He considers the opportunity to “work” with director Ridley Scott as an absolute dream and is looking forward to his other 14 minutes and 45 seconds of fame!

An award-winning documentary producer/director and writer, his documentaries have received many awards including a Silver Screen Award at the U.S. International Film & Video Festival, Chicago and a Silver Award at the Worldfest Houston International Film Festival, both in 1999. He considers one of his major life achievements to be the production of “The Pride Returns Home,” an original documentary about Heidelberg American High School and the 1996 HHS Reunion of the Century in Heidelberg, Germany. In 2005, he co-produced BRATS: Our Journey Home.

Paco serves in the military as a public affairs officer for the Air Force. He considers traveling as one of the greatest gifts received from the military and has been to places like Panama, England, Germany, Spain, Greece, Haiti, Somalia, Iraq, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia and Beirut.

Paco graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and from Texas Christian University with a Masters of Liberal Arts degree. An avid runner with 14 marathons under his belt, Paco’s hobbies include listening to flamenco music, traveling to Europe and hanging out with his wife Jennifer, his two kids Nicolas and Carmen and two cats, Buffy and Fidget.
