Sharon  Richmond, Make-up Artist

Sharon  Richmond is an internationally known  make-up artist; native of Washington, D.C. She is the founder and CEO of Rich  Make-up Artist Inc. which offers services from glamour to gore thru Rich FX.  Richmond attended the Dudley Beauty College and was certified as a licensed Aesthetician in 1996 along with receiving her certificate of completion in  Cosmetology (1500 hrs).  She also received a certificate of completion from  the Complexion International Make-up School in Toronto, Canada in 2003 where she trained  in period hair styling, fashion photographic make-up, runway make-up, theatre make-up, basic  haircutting & wig making, special effects make-up for television and  film, prosthetics, animatronics as well as; studio production and  financial management.

Richmond’s work has appeared on the pages of Essence  Magazine, Make-up Artist Magazine,  The Knot, Washington Style Magazine and  the Cover of Cable World Magazine.  She has served as a make-up artist for  Black Entertainment Television (BET)since 1996. Television show she currently  work on are To the Contrary, Quite on  the Set on TV/ONE,  Evening Exchange,Howard University Television  (WHUT-TV),Reporters Round Table, DC Cable(OCTT)  and she was a featured  consultant on BET's Teen Summit and The Ananda Lewis Show. Richmond’s hands has grace  the faces of singer Lalah Hathaway, Actor Blair Underwood, Anthony  Anderson, LaVa Burton, Debbie Allen and film producer, John Singleton and  television and film producer Suzanne DePasse. Her clients also include CEO Debra  Lee, former Secretary of Labor Alex Herman of New Ventures CEO Bob Johnson of  RLJ Companies.

Richmond's latest service of make-up artistry was for the theatre production of Los pecadados de Sor Juana  at the Gala Hispanic Theatre at Tivoli in Washington,  D.C.
